BABULA CLEMENT has been a professional astrologer since the early Eighties and is currently crazy about the colour purple. BRIAN CLARKis the co-founder of the Chiron Centre, now located at WellBeing at the Convent, a wing of the Abbotsford Convent dedicated to alternative healing therapies.  He has a private counselling practice utilising astrology from an archetypal perspective.  His numerous articles, books and student publications have been translated into various languages including French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.  In 2006 his book Celestial Tarot was released and in 2007 his collaborative work on 52 goddess cards with Kay Steventon Ancient Feminine Wisdom was also published by US Games.  Through Odyssey Tours to Ancient Greece Brian conducts tours to sacred sanctuaries, especially those dedicated to healing and divination.  Brian also lectures on mythology and has his BA (Hons) and MA in Classics and Archaeology from the University of Melbourne. www.AstroSynthesis@bigpond.com

CATE WHELAN has had a passion for astrology for over 25 years, gaining formal FAA qualifications and a post-grad Medieval Certificate in the 90s, and is a regular speaker at FAA and FPA meetings.  A high-school teacher in a former life, Cate now lives at Aldinga Beach, 50 km south of Adelaide, South Australia, where she consults and teaches astrology. She loves her semi-rural life, and her soul is nurtured by the ocean and the hills.  Cate is both blessed and cursed with a mutable chart, so her astrological interests are wide-ranging, but she never feels she knows quite enough about anything! She has always been drawn towards sociological topics in particular, where she is absorbed looking for patterns and trends.

CHARYN McLEAN, is a professional astrological consultant from Queensland holding a Dip Astro (FAA) and a Dip. Prof. Coun., she also is a teacher.  Her astrological focus is psychological / karmic astrology.  Charyn approaches her work from a Chironic therapeutic perspective, integrating counselling and Australian bush flower essences with the art of astrology.  She also works as a consultant for naturopaths and other alternative therapists who specialise in fertility issues. 

CHRISTINA THOMAS is an Astrological Practitioner and Educator who has been actively involved in the Astrological Community for 10 years.  Christina is a member of both the Federation of Australian Astrologers (FAA) and the Association of Professional Astrologers (APA) and currently serves on the Australian Astrologers of New South Wales (AANSW) Committee.  Christina teaches Astrology on the South Coast and co-ordinates the South Coast Astrology Group.  Christina holds an Astro Dip (FAA).  As a young person Christina often asked “WHY” now life steers her down the Astrological Horary Path.

CYNDI WALLS Dip. FAA Fellow (FAA) is a Psychological Astrologer currently doing her Bachelor degree in Psychology and Counseling. Cyndi was born in Australia and after travelling to the UK and France in 1999 and experiencing many heightened spiritual experiences has followed her calling to spend 6months in the UK and 6months in Australia. Her Astrological practice also includes the art of Reiki, DNA activation and Spiritual healing. Cyndi has lectured and held workshops in Australia and the UK and has also written for Your Trading Edge.
 
Cyndi was an active Committee member of the QFA and the FAA between 1990 and 2002 and was co- convener for the FAA Conference in Brisbane in 1998. In 2004 she was honored by being given Fellow Membership of FAA.

DAVID BURTON has studied financial astrology since 1980, since 1983 trading the financial astrology methods of the great W.D.Gann (1878-1955).David has nearly spent a life time decoding Gann’s works that he coded in his books “The Tunnel thru the air or looking back from 1940” and “The magic word”.W.D.Gann discovered all his cycles from the bible which lead to use the astrology of the Hebrews. David has made many public forecasts in advance including the 130 year high in cotton in 1995, the 720 year high in wheat in 1996, the great bull market in wheat in 2008, the top of the stock market in 2007 and the current financial collapse. David started the school of Gann in 2002 and none of his students were in the stock market or real-estate after 2007.David is forecasting worst to come over the next decade. www.schoolofgann.com

DEMETRA GEORGE( US) M.A. Classics, received the 2002 Regulus Award for Theory and Understanding. A practitioner of astrology for more than thirty-five years specializing in archetypal mythology and ancient techniques, she has authored numerous books and articles, including Astrology For Yourself, Asteroid Goddesses, and Astrology and the Authentic Self.  She lives in Oregon, lectures internationally, and leads pilgrimages to the sacred sites in the Mediterranean and India with Ancient Oracle Tours. As director of Thema: Foundations in Astrology, an integrated program of studies, she mentors private students in beginner’s fundamentals, modern chart delineation, Hellenistic astrology, mythic asteroids, and ancient Greek language for astrologers. DONNA O'CONNORDONNA O’CONNOR has a specialty focus on the history, theory, and philosophy of astrology. This is based upon studying the authentic essence and informing functions of symbolism and the sacred. A tandem field is the Hermetic teachings. An FAA accredited astrology teacher, she also holds a Diploma Honours with the Astrological Guild of Educators International for The Lost Doctrine of Sect, a research thesis on an ancient Hellenistic principle. Donna has spoken many times to the public, students and fellow practitioners, including the 2008 Sydney FAA Conference under QFA sponsorship. Along with her colleague Richard Smykowsky she has been presenting The Astrology Project, a series of lecture intensives in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast. Most of all, her passion is to encourage thoughtfulness and deepen reflection on astrological practice. She is experienced and available as an astrological consultant for researchers, historians, journalists and other media commentators

DR BEN DYKES (US) Benjamin N. Dykes, PhD, a leading medieval astrologer, recently completed the only full translation of Guido Bonatti's Book of Astronomy, the 13th-Century masterpiece. Dr. Dykes received his AMA (Adeptus Medievalis Astrologiae) from the renowned medieval astrologer Robert Zoller, and his PhD in philosophy from the University of Illinois, where he taught philosophy until turning to astrology full-time. In addition to his extensive translation work, Dr. Dykes also reads charts for clients worldwide.

ED TAMPLIN Astrology represents the culmination of a childhood fascination for Ed Tamplin. Before adopting an astrological practise Ed worked as a variously radio actor/producer and announcer, musician, teacher and freelance writer. From the late 80’s whilst studying the mind/body integration Alexander Technique, he began his astrological consultancy, and column. In 1999 Ed commenced live readings interspersed with astrological comment on world events with leading Sydney radio station 2GB.  His regular two-hour talkback astrology segment, with numerologist Steve Murphy created Sydney’s largest Saturday night listening audience.

Ed’s astrological research has been published in the ISAR magazine, on StarIq, and he has consistently supplied the ‘Eye In The Sky’ mundane astrology column for the FAA Quarterly magazine. As well as operating his own website www.edtamplin.com he is a co-founder with partner Sherrynne Dalby of www.astrologyoz.com an Internet forum of diverse Australian astrologers. Having served as VP of both the AANSW and SARS Ed now concentrates exclusively on consultancy, media work, astronomy and teaching at the Sirius School of Astrology. For the last decade has been a full time operating professional with a worldwide client base.

EDITH DeBURGH Dip. AGE; Dip Astro (FAA) was made, born and raised in Switzerland. Taught primary school before meeting and tangling with an Aussie farmer whilst on a language study trip to the UK. Soon after she travelled to Australia for the Big Adventure and subsequently married said farmer. Changed to biodynamic/organic farming method 20 years ago. One of the original stallholders of first WA organic farmers’ markets and still going. Also working in tour guiding.

Edith became an astroholic some 16 years ago as a result of a close encounter with a random astrology book at the Christmas sales. She studied with Astro Logos and gained professional qualifications both with FAA and A.G.E., writes a monthly column in local newspaper, has client consultations and speaks to community groups, FAA events and seminars. Edith teaches all levels, from modern to traditional since 2002 and has been a FAAWA committee since 2003, President 2004-2007, current Vice President and has been a member of FAA National Council since 2006.

GEORGE STATHIS (US) is an internationally known business consultant and trends specialist, speaker, and teacher.  Since 1977 she has worked with individuals as well as businesses assisting them in planning and determining their direction and strategies. Her ability to relate the universals of old and new world mythologies and historical cycles find their expression in her skills as a teacher and consultant. Known on the International speaking circuit she has presented at ISAR, UAC, NCGR, and currently teaches for Kepler College in Seattle, USA. Co-author of several books and author of Business Astrology 101 and the annual Starcycles Calendar. She is a founding member of THE APOLLON GROUP, a consulting group with Grace K. Morris and Joyce Levine.

GERRY TAYLOR WOOD Born in London, Gerry immigrated to Australia in 1992.  She has lectured internationally in the UK, USA and New Zealand.  Forums include Festival of Mind, Body and Spirit – Institute for Stellar Influences (California) – New Approaches to Cancer (UK). In 1986 she gained the Diploma of The Centre for Psychological Astrology UK (Dr. Liz Green). Geraldine has been a UK sun sign columnist, with appearances on TV, and radio – and has trained astrologers with a two year diploma course in psychological astrology.

She has taken fifteen groups to the world’s most sacred and holy sites as a modern day pilgrimage.On Tamborine Mountain, Queensland she works with the gift of sacred waters and has published the book -‘GRAIL HAVEN – THE JOURNEY TO A SACRED WELL’ and developed a set of 33-GRAIL HAVEN FLOWER ESSENCES now taught in natural medicine colleges. She is founder of an international Not-for-Profit organization ‘The Fellowship of Grail Haven’.

GLENNYS LAWTON has been an integral figure in the development of humanistic astrology in Melbourne, having taught person-centred astrology for the past 25 years first with the College of Humanistic Astrology and then with Astro*Synthesis. Glennys is an Accredited Astrology Teacher with the FAA and holds the Southern Cross State award from this organisation. As well as her astrological qualifications, Glennys is a registered family therapist, a clinical Member of the Victorian Association of Family Therapists (VAFT) and an accredited counsellor and educator with the National Association of Loss and Grief (NALAG-Vic). She has been involved in lecturing to international astrological conferences in Australia, Europe, New Zealand and North America as well as presenting workshops to the CPA in London, England and to SFER in Zurich, Switzerland. Glennys has also presented workshops at family therapy conferences. Currently Glennys is a founding member of the Association for Professional Astrologers (APA).

GREG BOGART (U.S.) Ph.D., MFT, is a psychotherapist and astrological counselor in private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a professor of counseling psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies and a lecturer in psychology at Sonoma State University. He is the author of numerous books, including Astrology and Meditation: The Fearless Contemplation of Change, Astrology and Spiritual Awakening, Rudhyar's Astrology in Plain Language, and Therapeutic Astrology. Greg's newest book Dreamwork and Self-Healing: Unfolding the Symbols of the Unconscious (Karnac Books, 2009,) describes his research on the clinical applications of dreams in working with depression, anxiety, anger, sexuality, to enhance relationships, and to awaken spiritual potential.

GREGORY CLARE is President of the Astrology Association of NSW Inc. (AANSW) and the Sydney Astrological Research Society Inc. (SARS). Gregory is a member of the Australian Professional Astrologers (APA). He is a member of the Federation of Australian Astrologers National Council (NSW) and the Australian Council of Vedic Astrologers (ACVA). He has lectured internationally and nationally on Hellenistic, Classical and Mundane Astrology. Gregory presented a series of talks at the Sydney Theosophical Society on Hermetic understanding and the work of Gurdjieff.  He was a co- convener of the 2008, 17th International Bi-Annual FAA Astrology Conference held in Sydney. JEANETTE LEWIS-HILLis originally from New York, and lived in various North and South American locations before settling in Western Australia in 1975, - brought here by the mining industry. She began her astrology studies in the early 1980s, and holds a Diploma from the Astrological Guild of Educators International. Jeannette has also kept alive her career as a professional artist, and more recently as a curator. Her deepest astrological interests are in the spiritual, psychological and health areas, with the astrology of world figures and events running a close second. JEANNIE MONKS is the main tutor of the Gemini Rising Academy of Astrology in Brisbane, Queensland.  Born in Africa, she brings her lifetime of in-depth experiences and wisdom into her teaching, writing and counselling with the philosophy that  “a true teacher has the gift of generosity of knowledge, wisdom and spirit”.   She has a BA in Psychology, a post-graduate diploma in Education/Counselling;  Masters in Esoteric Psychology & holds the FAA Practitioners Diploma.  Jeanni is also an active committee member of the Association of Professional Astrologers, the FAA Exam Board, the QFA and is a FAA National Council Representative.

JOY USHER Joy Usher is a consulting astrologer and educator who gained her Dip Astro (FAA) in 1995, and served as Coordinator to the FAA Exam Board from 1996-1998. Joy completed the Robert Zoller Medieval Astrology Course, the Cert Medieval ( Astro Logos), Accreditation in the Fixed Star Course and her AGE Honours Diploma for her paper on the Arabic Parts.

She is a Faculty member and served as Exam Registrar for The Astrological Guild of Educators from 1998 to 2008, and is a founding member of the Forum of Professional Astrologers. Joy, a regular speaker for the South Australian branch of the FAA and at the FPA Seminars, has lectured at various astrological conferences around Australia, and has spoken at the Astrological Association Conference in York, England in 2003. .

She has been published in The FAA Journal, the Australis '97 Congress Papers, and was a regular columnist for The Astrological Monthly Review. Joy began teaching in 1995 with Balsama Astrology, and has been co-principal of Astro Mundi, which opened its doors in Adelaide, South Australia in 2002. AstroMundi currently teaches attending classes, and has a number of interstate and overseas students who attend on-line and through distance education programs. AstroMundi travels interstate to conduct independent workshops and has been conducting Master Classes in Advanced Techniques in Astrology since 2005.

JULIE DAY is a Qualified Astrologer, member of the FAA and the APA.  She is  Brisbane born and bred managing a practice of teaching and personal consultations for 10 years.  In her journey to awareness she has learnt a variety of healing techniques and has held weekend workshops helping people to reach into their soul and presenting the basics of the astrology chart in a circle of understanding.   She has given talks at a number of venues in the last few years.  Her grasp of the interconnection between mind body and spirit allows her to source deep behavioural issues through the chart and bring to light how these can be resolved for a more conscious positive quality of life.  Her greatest joy is to watch people grow in confidence and purpose as students of astrology by changing their perceptions of self.

KIRA SUTHERLAND, BHSc, ND, is an experienced Naturopath, Nutritionist and Astrologer.  She consults and lectures to a variety of corporations, schools and sports teams on health and naturopathic nutrition. In private practice for over fifteen years Kira combines her knowledge in Naturopathy with her passion for medical astrology into a wonderful mix of mind/body medicine.

MAGGIE KERR (AAT Dip. Couns.) is a well known Australian Astrologer, Counsellor & Teacher in Communications & "People Skills" & has been in the front line of her field for over 24 years. She is an accredited teacher with the FAA, a member of the FAA exam board, the Australian Vice-President for ISAR and lectures in Australia & Overseas. Maggie’s studies have integrated Psychological & Esoteric Astrology, Comparative Religion and Metaphysics with Psychotherapeutic tools including T.A., Gestalt Therapy, Client Centered Counselling, Relationship & Family Systems Therapy and Jungian Psychology.  She believes that our therapy comes in many forms and can be fun! www.universalastrology.com.au

MARI GARCIA is a consulting astrologer who started formal astrological studies in 1990 with Astro Logos in Adelaide, South Australia.  She holds a Practitioners Diploma (FAA) awarded in 1995 having acheived the Gold Medal the highest marks in that year.  Mari has also completed the Robert Zoller Medieval Course, the Post Graduate Certificate in Medieval Astrology (Astro Logos) and Bernadette Brady’s Fixed Star Course. She has lectured in Australia at the 2008 FAA international conference in Sydney, the Australis ‘97 Astrological Congress, the Forum of Professional Astrologers Seminar Series and is a regular for FAA- SA. Mari also lectured at the United Astrology Conference (UAC) in the USA in 2002 and again in 2008.

Mari writes columns for and has published articles in a number of publications locally, nationally and internationally. Her interests include mundane and political astrology, mythology and medieval astrology and the research and  application of medieval techniques in a modern setting.
She edited Astrology - An Ancient Art in the Modern World: Australis 97 Congress papers and was also a contributor to the anthology with the article “A Mundane Look at Australian Images”.  

She runs a consulting practice, is co-principal of ASTRO MUNDI, a school offering a four year astrology course, studies in Medieval Astrology as well as Master Classes covering a wide range of topics. MICHAEL LUTIN Michael's wild website (michaellutin.com or wheresthemoon.com)  has  a   world wide readership and client base. He is well known for his wickedly  funny presentations,  is a contributing editor for Vanity Fair magazine, German Vogue,  and fem.com as well as the Huffington Post. In addition to lectures, workshops and seminars internationally, he is the author of four musical plays and four books, including 'Sunshine: the Astrology of Being Happy'.  His latest work: "WAIT! DON'T KILL YOURSELF YET! THERE'S HOPE!"

MICHELE FINEY grew up in a house called “Chiron” and was taught by her eccentric grandfather, artist George Finey, that we are born with a blueprint and go through life filling it in; so it’s not surprising Michele became an astrologer, attaining her F.A.A. Diploma by her mid 20s. With around 30 years’ experience, Michele’s fascination with the planets and passion for astrological research continues.
Michele’s articles have appeared in a number of publications including; Nature and Health, Astrolog Annual and The Mountain Astrologer, and she is the author of Solar Fire’s, Health and Wellbeing Report Her first book, Secrets of the Zodiac was published by Allen and Unwin in March 2009. MOLLY TALBOT found her passion in 1978 when she began studying astrology. In 1991 she decided to share this passion by introducing people to astrology through the local Community College and other schools. Being married to a Psychologist, she incorporates a psychological perspective into her teaching and readings.

Her aim is to show people how to use astrology in their daily lives and as a tool for self understanding. Molly consults and teaches Astrology and Tarot in Sydney and is a Practitioner member of the APA. 

NIKKI WORTH has been studying astrology since her early teens inspired by her mother who was a
self-taught astrologer. As a child, Nikki’s mother explained astrology to her, and a natural fascination developed. In 1996 she began formal studies with Astro*Synthesis and holds their Diploma of Applied Astrology, and she is currently in the process of completing the FAA exams. Nikki also holds a Bachelor of Education from Melbourne University.
Nikki teaches Basic Astrology which currently includes an innovative 6 week course, the History of Astrology at CAE in Melbourne. Nikki writes for Skybus on-board video news. Previously, she has written several star sign columns, appeared on “9am with David & Kim”, and more recently featured on the panel of ‘Cosmic Imprint’, a self funded astrology show produced by and starring Julie McBeth. PATRICIA SHEPHERD started her serious study of Astrology over 30 years ago and is an accredited teacher and Exam Board member of the FAA. Passionate about astrology but also aware of the Hippocratic Oath of “doing no harm” she holds a Diploma in Psychotherapy and Relationship Counseling (Jansen and Newman Institute) and also a Graduate Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy (Illawarra Gestalt Centre). She founded the Wollongong College of Astrology in 1999 where astrology is used to promote self awareness and growth. Patricia is current president of the Association of Professional Astrologers and integrates her psychotherapy work with astrology as an Astrological Counselor for a Natural Health Clinic in Wollongong.

PETER BURNS' interest in astrology began in the late 1970's while studying for a sociology degree at La Trobe University. After graduating Peter studied Palmistry (Chirology) at the Southern School of Naturopathy in Fitzroy in 1982. In the late 1980's Peter began formal astrological studies in earnest, and joined the FAA. Since 1984 Peter has provided consultations for hundreds of people, and has been actively involved in teaching astrology and palmistry. He has given a number of lectures at the Western Australian and Victorian Astrological Associations, and lectured at the 2006 FAA International Conference in Melbourne. In 1997 Peter obtained the FAA Practitioner's Certificate (now called the ‘FAA Diploma’), and in 2004 joined the Association of Professional Astrologers (APA). Peter has also been a regular guest speaker on the subject of astrology on ABC radio in Western Australia in the mid 1990's, and on 3RRR and 3XY in Melbourne in recent years. Peter has been the FAA Journal Editor since 2000.

RHONNDA FRITZ came to astrology several years ago in Canberra as a result of needing to resolve a personal life crisis and quickly discovered that astrology held the key to understanding all human relationships.   In 1996, she studied with the late Doris Greaves and added Cosmobiology to my mounting astrological studies and have been an avid user ever since.   At this time Rhonda also studied with Roderick Kidston and through his tutorage and ongoing mentoring, have acquired a solid understanding of Harmonics, Fixed Stars and Asteroids.  My areas of astrological expertise lie in the intricacies of human relationships, mundane astrology and with a particular expertise and interest in business and financial astrology.

Rhonda's philosophy is that people all have an inner desire to be the best they can possibly be and that they create what they want in life as they go along.  As well as being a Professional Astrologer, Rhonda is a certified Trainer of Neuro Linguistic Programing (NLP), Hypnosis,Time Line TherapyTM and Coaching.  Astrology goes hand in hand with all of these to provide my clients with the tools they need to understand who they are, to heal their past and to create their future. 

RICHARD GILES was born in sunny Adelaide in 1946, the Chinese year of the Fire Dog. As a boy he wanted to be an astronomer and joined local astronomy groups attending field nights every fortnight. At university he studied psychology and history and his stint with student magazines led him into publishing and writing. Travelling the world, and living in many countries, especially in Southeast Asia, gave him a much more rounded perspective on the planet. He moved to the Sunshine Coast in 1977 after living in Asia.

He studied astrology at the Coolum astrology school, on the Sunshine Coast  in 1987 (as Uranus passed over his Sun) and has been practising and writing columns and stories for magazines ever since. In 1998 he studied Feng Shui and continues in both Chinese and Western astrology, Feng Shui and Geomancy. Richard, and partner Susie, bought into Crystal Waters community on the Sunshine Coast hinterland in 2004. He runs an active Feng Shui and astrology practice from there where he organises the annual Crystal Waters astrology conference. He's also had regular astrology and Feng Shui sessions and commentary on the local ABC radio.  

RICK LEVINE( US) President and Chief Wizard of StarIQ.com, combines his visionary understanding of astrology’s role in society with his ability to communicate astrological terms in unique ways. Rick is the co-author (with Jeff Jawer) of Barnes and Noble's annual "Your Astrology Guide." His daily horoscope column is delivered via the Internet to millions of readers. He is the subject of a DVD, "Quantum Astrology: Science, Spirit, and Our Place in the Cycles of History" and is the narrator/producer of "The Sixties Inside Out: An Astrological Look at 2012 and Beyond." His articles, poems and illustrations have appeared in many magazines. Rick was a Founding Trustee of Kepler College. He is a computer wizard, a net-junkie, and is rumored to have an advanced Intel dual core microprocessor imbedded in his brain.

RODERICK KIDSTON began learning astrology in 1974 at the age of thirteen from his self-taught mother. An early fan of adding asteroids to the astrologer's repertoire, he now considers it difficult to read a horoscope without the 'minor planets'. The study of harmonics has also been a passion, and for the last decade he has investigated how harmonics may explain both material evolutionary potential and the inner drives of mind and soul. He is interested in a more 'integral' approach to astrology that links with developments in depth psychology and metaphysics, including the new insights offered by the spiral dynamics theory of consciousness.

STEPHANIE JOHNSON, is a founder of Esoteric Technologies, the company that creates the Solar Fire suite of astrology products. In particular she is the author of the many Solar Writing range of astrology report writers. Stephanie runs her own Seeing with the Stars astrology consultations business as well as editing the Australian Data Collection. She holds a Dip Astro (FAA), Adv Dip Astro (FAA) and is a student of Medieval Astrology and the Ancient Wisdom teachings. She has lectured at national conferences, and her astrology articles have appeared in Australian publications including the FAA Journal and the Australian Monthly Review. Before commencing her professional astrology career Stephanie was a journalist for 15 years in Australia, England and the USA.

TESS CULLEN
Tess has taught Astrology for the past 16 yrs and is an APA member (Assoc of Professional Astrologers) with a practice in Byron Bay, Northern NSW. She combines mythology and psychology with the study of ancient astrological techniques and is particularly interested in the interweaving of spiritual wisdom into our everyday lives. With a background in the performing and creative arts Tess encourages interactive processes and inspires all with a joy of learning. Tess is currently the FAA Exam Board Director and webmistress for the FAA, the APA and the AANSW websites.
