FAA Conference 2012 – May Newsletter

Thanks for subscribing to our conference communiqués. Being a subscriber you receive automatic updates when the site changes; therefore over the past few months you have received the pages of some of our trade fair exhibitors. In June we will post the lecture schedule so stay tuned to the website for the publication of the lecture timetable.

As you can see our conference program is packed with exceptional speakers who are offering exciting lectures, seminars and workshops; therefore it has been a huge task to arrange the schedule. Making choices will be tough; I sympathise with Libras trying to make their selections. However all the lectures will be recorded and there will be lots to discuss with your friends and colleagues during the breaks. .

The next early bird is upon us – Jupiter has flashed through Aries – and its entrance into Taurus marks our 2nd early bird where you can save up to $90 on the final costs. As we are saying the conference is a great investment in a valuable and memorable learning experience.

Good quality comfortable student rooms are still available; however if student accommodation is not your thing then on the website we have listed other accommodation nearby (see FAQ). If you have registered for an accommodation package we have blocked out the days before and after in case you might need extra accommodation. We will be invoicing these extras when you have confirmed your arrival and departure dates.

Our committee is hard at work to make sure your expectations of a worthwhile investment are met. To register go to our website and either register on line, by phone or download the application and post it to us. Along with the committee of the Victorian Astrologers Association, we are looking forward to welcoming you to Melbourne next January for a great conference.

I cannot sign off without acknowledging the loss of one of the VAA’s dearly loved and respected colleagues. Neville Lang died on the 28th of April and he will be truly missed by his astrological community as he gave so much of himself. Neville convened the 2000 FAA Conference in Melbourne and we keep his spirit alive in our memory.
