Peter BurnsPeter Burns has been involved with astrology and palmistry since the early 1980’s and has been trained in both modern and traditional astrology. He has consulted hundreds of people, and has been actively involved in teaching. He was a guest speaker on ABC radio in Western Australia and on 3RRR in Melbourne.

Peter has lectured at the Western Australian and Victorian Astrological Associations, and at the 2004, 2010, and 2012 International FAA Astrology Conferences. He has been national editor of the quarterly Journal of the FAA since 2000. His successful predictions include the recent global financial crisis.

Peter is passionate about the need for beginning astrologers to acquire a solid foundation in the ‘first principles’ of astrology, and now runs an online Horary Astrology Diploma course. He points out that the sole focus of the horary chart is the question asked, and that this ancient technique overcomes the problem of inaccurate birth times. He says that the internal integrity, subtlety and depth of horary astrology has a beauty all of its own.

Peter also believes that the manifest outcome of the horoscope is contained on the hands and the time-lines on the palm, and that when consulting astrologers have been trained in the use of this amazing tool, their competence and effectiveness is greatly improved. He is seeking to promote a greater awareness of ‘hand astrology’ through his Palmistry Diploma Course.

Roderick KidstonRoderick Kidston began learning astrology in 1974 at the age of thirteen, from his self-taught mother. An early fan of adding asteroids to the astrologer’s repertoire, he now finds it impossible to read a horoscope fully without the so-called ‘minor planets’.

The study of harmonics has also been a passion, and for more than a decade he has been investigating how harmonic patterns may explain both material evolutionary potential, and the inner workings and drives of the mind and soul.

He is interested in a more integral approach to astrology that links with developments in depth and transpersonal psychology, metaphysics and the new physics. This includes the new insights offered by the spiral dynamics theory of the evolution of consciousness. He wrote for the Wellspring AstroLog from its first publication (as the WellBeing Astrology Guide) in 1997 until it ceased in 2009, and has been published in the FAA Journal and in two other small journals in Australia. He has taught astrology in Canberra, given talks and workshops in several cities, and been a speaker at the Marriage of Minds conference in 2003, and at the FAA Conferences in 2006, 2008 and 2010. Roderick is also the author of the asteroid report writer called The Iris Asteroids Report, produced by Cosmic Patterns Software.

Jeanette Lewis-HillJeannette Lewis-Hill is a consulting and teaching astrologer; a long-term resident of Perth who originally hails from New York. She and her family arrived in Australia in the 70’s as part of the mining scene. Coming in from the bush in 1980, she had her first real exposure to astrology, which gradually took over from her career as a working artist and curator. In the 1990’s she began to consult regularly, and started teaching towards the end of the decade. Her first teaching assignments were under the well-known Perth astrologer/cosmobiologist Barbara Brackley. Eventually Jeannette formed her own school of astrology, which she still maintains part time in semi-retirement.

Jeannette holds a Diploma from the Astrological Guild of Educators and an Apprenticeship in Horary Astrology from John Frawley. She has been a frequent contributor on Perth radio, and publishes her own class manuals and the occasional article. She has been active in the FAAWA for a number of years, including a term of Presidency. Her astrological interests are eclectic; she enjoys the psychological dimension of astrological counselling, yet is a keen student and practitioner of horary and, to a lesser degree, mundane astrology. Her current avenues of research are into the traditional forms of astrology and into the synodic cycles of the inferior planets.

Laura NalbandianLaura Nalbandian is a second generation astrologer, teaching and practicing astrology since 1986. She is one of the premier astrology teachers in Washington and teaches on a variety of levels.

Laura’s philosophy centers on the soul’s evolution through lifetimes of incarnations; that our soul chooses the complete set of circumstances to be born into in any given life.  These circumstances include the date, time, location, parents and cultural system, and they provide us and the soul exactly what is needed to evolve. Each of us is the current manifestation of our soul and we have the responsibility to do the work of the soul ~ in doing so, enlivening and enriching our lives in the here and now.

Your natal chart is the map of the soul’s issues/history and of your personality.  Laura will explore your chart and help you understand your soul/life purpose, as well as your current life challenges.
